Emily Delaney has returned to her hometown to run the local newspaper. Just as she is starting to feel at home again, a crooked real estate developer is murdered, thrusting Emily into an urgent investigation. Not only does she need to get the scoop for her struggling newspaper, but she wants to get her boyfriend off the suspect list. Not to mention the whole affair threatens to close down her friend Bryce’s new bakery. All the while Emily’s best friend Crystal is receiving mysterious packages with cryptic notes attached. With two mysteries to solve Emily barely has a moment to spend with her new boyfriend, who despite his good looks and charm, might not be the man she’s meant to be with.
